David H. Gracias is a Professor at the Johns Hopkins University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley and did postdoctoral work at Harvard University, all in chemistry or related fields. His independent laboratory, since 2003, has pioneered the development of shape-change, and 3D integrated micro-, and nanodevices of broad relevance. Prof. Gracias has co-authored over 170 technical publications in addition to 31 issued US patents.
